Helping clients help themselves!

Helping clients help themselves!

What problem does it solve? Once children are returned home from Foster Care/Placement, it helps to inform the welfare office officially from DCPP so there is no gap, delay in returning benefits and thus saving the state money from having to cover expenses during the gap. What is your solution and who does it apply to? We send an electronic form via email to welfare upon child returning home. It goes in their electronic file at welfare thus officially informing them DCPP returned child home. I created this pilot project! It is working GREAT in Camden County. What is the anticipated impact? The impact is there is no gap in benefits thus saving the state money by not having to cover expenses during the gap and enabling the clients to help themselves!
