It will prevent babies, teens, adults smelling 2nd hand smoke and prevent getting cancer, asthma, other breathing diseases and possibly reduce the need for teens to start smoking. Especially important if Marijuana ever gets passed. Health costs would be dramatically reduced as well What is your solution and who does it apply to? This would be impossible to enforce. What about condo/townhouse owners who have lived in the home for years? Who would pay for them to move?
