What problem does it solve? Right now we are tethered to a browser whenever we want to use portal or njdirect or ecats. What is your solution and who does it apply to? Adding a mobile application allows us to refine the experience for mobile users, and make finding people in the state much quicker. This, along with access to timesheets, and pensions will give the users quick access to their most used functions. What is the anticipated impact? I believe right now the impact would not be much, but over time and with the adoption of more mobile devices this idea could pay dividends.
